Business Unit: Ametek Rauland Job Description: Primary Responsibilities The Ohio and Michigan markets are part of Rauland Integrated Solutions (RIS) with markets in Florida, Ohio, Michigan and California. RIS is responsible for the sales, installation and service of Rauland-related products in a defined market. The Business Leader for the Ohio and Michigan markets is responsible for the overall business and financial health in these markets. The Business Leader is specifically responsible for the following: Oversight of Operations Achieve the financial goals of the markets Assist sales and service from a leadership role to achieve targets Ensure that profitability and growth targets for the local markets are achieved Ensure that the needs of our customers and prospective customers are met Maintain a detailed understanding of the financial components that drive the business Establish and manage an organizational budget Ensure that the organization is properly staffed to succeed in its goals Ensure organizational compliance with company policies and procedures Ability to inspire and motivate team, while being able to identify and remove organizational bottlenecks and have a strong ability to communicate across the business, as well as to customers Ability to review and understand contracts and contract terms to minimize risks to the business Duties & Responsibilities Sales & Service Work with RIS Sales Leader and sales management to achieve sales targets Work with sales management to monitor sales and orders plans to achieve goals Ensure that sales forecasts are maintained and appropriately reported Work with RIS Service Leader to ensure we achieve our service targets and provide exceptional service
Operations & Engineering Direct the efforts of the local Operations team Project Management Engineering Installation Field Service Subcontractors
Coordinate with and support RIS Engineering and Services Management Establish and monitor KPIs for the business Monitor progress on projects, forecasting and ensure that customers are satisfied
Finance & Administration Work with and support Finance & Accounting team Development and ownership of the budget necessary for the business to meet its objectives and fulfill the strategic objectives Reviews analysis of activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives Support the local business Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely sales/order, collections, and financial reporting
Personnel Develop and maintain a positive and productive work environment Allocate human capital resources. Ensure that each of the core functional areas are efficient and productive Ensure appropriate skillsets are in place
Develop and grow our people With RIS and local Human Resources, lead the annual Performance Management process Ensure that staff are appropriately managed and developed
General Assist with proposal/customer strategy, contracts, and purchase orders Ensure that corporate requirements (legal, terms & conditions, profitability targets) are met
Participate in formulating and administering company policies, directing, and coordinating all divisional department activities to develop and implement long-range goals and objectives to meet business and profitability growth objectives Ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local government requirements for both business and project activities Travel required as needed
Job Requirements Education BS in a technical, financial, or business management field
Experience 5+ years in a management role Experience may be in general management or in one of the three core functional areas (Operations, Finance, Sales)
Experience in an electronic system contracting organization Experience serving institutional customers is preferred
Familiarity with systems contracting processes and requirements Familiarity with financial metrics and reporting and impacts to the business
Strong verbal and written communications skills #LI-KAC
