Nature of Work Within the business development role, you will drive our growth in alignment with the company's goals by forging strong relationships with prospective homeowners, real estate agents, and our broader referral network. In this pivotal role, you'll be the face of Twiddy, guiding potential partners through our unique business philosophy, market performance, general operating procedures, and revenue potential. What You'll Do: Build Relationships: Identify, develop, and nurture strong, positive relationships with prospective homeowners, current owners looking to expand their investments, and local real estate agents.
Educate & Consult: Provide in-depth knowledge about Twiddy's business philosophy, market performance, marketing strategy, revenue projections, and operational procedures to potential partners.
Property Assessment: Conduct on-site evaluations of potential rental properties to ensure they meet Twiddy's location, brand, and condition standards, and advise on necessary upgrades.
Sales Process Management: Guide new buyers from contract to closing and seamlessly transition new owners from their current rental management company to Twiddy.
Project Revenue: Provide data-driven revenue projections for prospective homeowners and real estate agents.
Network Expansion: Cultivate relationships with local builders, realtors, and other professionals to continuously grow Twiddy's referral network.
Brand Advocacy: Represent Twiddy at targeted events, enhancing our local brand presence and identifying new business development marketing opportunities.
Communication & Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of all communications, ensuring timely and professional responses to all inquiries. Communication includes in-person meetings and walk-throughs, phone calls, text messages, and emails.
Ongoing Support: Engage with homeowners and buyers consistently to ensure smooth transitions and provide ongoing education regarding company policies and procedures.
Identify Future Opportunities: Identify opportunities within the market where we may look to expand or advertise.
Collaborate with Owner Services: High level of collaboration with the Owner Services team working behind the scenes to prepare agreements, collecting proper documentation, and notation of any special circumstances.
Company Engagement: Stay current with company policies and procedures for clear communication to homeowners. Understand the role of each department in the homeowner experience and be able to speak with accuracy and understanding on a wide range of topics across departments.

Communication Prowess: Excellent written, verbal, and mathematical skills.
Tech Savvy: Advanced proficiency with Google Apps, RNS, Salesforce, twiddyreporting, portal, and Excel.
Organizational Excellence: Superior organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Real Estate Expertise: A valid North Carolina Real Estate License, or the ability to obtain one promptly.
Industry Insight: Prior experience within Twiddy (preferred) or a strong willingness to undergo extensive training within the company as needed, particularly within Owner Services.
Team Player: Ability to excel both independently and as a collaborative team member.
Work Schedule & Flexibility: This role offers and requires flexibility and adaptation to business and client needs. This may include weekends, mornings, or evenings. Expect to work both in the office and in the field.
