: This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to create and maintain sales of high-end building products, including decking, decking fasteners and accessories, hardwood lumber and flooring, and more. This role is an outside sales role where the selected candidate is expected to prospect in the field 3 days a week and have 2 office days. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Product Knowledge:Learn and master the companys products and operational procedures. Sales Communication:Clearly articulate product benefits to prospective and existing customers via phone and in person, tailoring solutions to meet specific client needs. Competitor Analysis:Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings to strategically position our products and improve sales performance. Sales Prospecting:Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through warm and cold outreach. Qualify leads, manage the sales pipeline, and close new accounts. Industry Presence:Represent Advantagelumber.com at trade shows, networking events, and other industry functions to build brand awareness and generate leads. Social Media Engagement:Use company social media accounts to post relevant content, engage with prospects, and support lead generation efforts through digital channels. Customer Relationship Management:Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business, referrals, and customer loyalty. Team Collaboration:Partner with internal teams and external teams including operations, customer service, and vendor/partners to ensure seamless fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Work Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Occasional after hours for networking, and/or responding to clients
Compensation & Benefits: Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.

Ideal Experience & Skills: Working knowledge of lumber measurements and basic construction (preferred but not required). Outside Sales Experience. Ability to manage multiple customer relationships. Excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of NetSuite, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
