We are seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive new business growth by targeting mid-to-large enterprise clients. As a BDM, you will play a critical role in identifying, qualifying, nurturing leads to build a strong sales pipeline. This role requires a proactive, strategic, and consultative approach to engaging with potential clients and closing new business opportunities. This is a fully remote role.
Key Responsibilities · Prospecting and Lead generation: Identify and engage with potential clients, leveraging data, industry trends, industry groups such as Boma, IFMA, etc., and virtual networking · Sales Pipeline Development: Generate and develop leads to create a pipeline of opportunities · Targeted outreach: Conduct outbound connections through calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking events, trade shows, and virtual events · Cross Functional Collaboration: Work to align outreach efforts with targeted campaigns, leveraging our lead generation tools, and our internal networks · CRM and Data Management: Utilize CRM system to track lead progress, document meetings and interactions, and to allow communication across teams · Follow-up and Relationship Building: Develop rapport with decision makers through consistent follow-ups, educational conversations, and value driven engagement · Sales Process Support- Nurture Leads, build pipeline of opportunities, proposal development, Pricing discussions, and ensure smooth transitions from prospecting to closing Ideal Candidate Profile · Experience: 4+ years in business development, inside sales, or related sales roles, preferably in B2B services or facilities management industries · Skills: Strong Sales Acumen, ability to develop relationships, consultative selling expertise · Tech-Savvy: Proficient in CRM tools, email marketing platforms, and lead generation databases · Self-Motivated: A driven, goal oriented mindset with the ability to be a self-starter and collaborate across departments · Industry Knowledge: Understanding commercial cleaning, facility management, or familiarity with organizations such as Boma and IFMA a plus · Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to present our value proposition compellingly
