Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing growth opportunities within and between organizations. We are seeking a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is profoundly committed to creating new business channels and enhancing existing client relationships.
Principal Responsibilities: Strategic Business Development: Identify and develop new market opportunities, prepare strategic proposals, and secure new client relationships to achieve defined revenue targets. Client Relationship Management: Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring that DMG CPAs meets their financial service needs and exceeds their service expectations. Sales Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales and business development professionals, setting clear goals and performance metrics in line with the firms strategic objectives. Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to craft compelling campaigns and outreach strategies that clearly communicate our value proposition to prospective and existing clients. Market Analysis: Continuously assess market trends, client feedback, and competition to adjust business strategies accordingly. Performance Reporting: Regularly report on sales progress and business development initiatives to the firms senior management, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Minimum Requirements Strong leadership skills with experience managing sales teams. Demonstrated learning curiosity and commitment to continuous education through workshops, seminars, reading, and conferences Ability to work collaboratively across departments to integrate business development strategies with the firms overall mission and goals Proven ability to drive a B2B sales process from plan to close Strong commercial business acumen and solid industry expertise Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills Ability to effectively multitask in a dynamic environment

Ability to use Email, Pipedrive CRM, Microsoft Excel, and other internal systems Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus A minimum of 7 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in the accounting or financial services sector. Deep understanding of market dynamics and business strategies within the accounting industry
