Hansen Talent Group is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a major multi-year Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) modernization initiative. In this role, you'll serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, driving scalable, integrated solutions that transform core business operations.
What you'll do:
Partner with business units and IT to analyze processes, identify gaps, and define requirements for modernization efforts. Lead business process redesign and translate business needs into clear functional specifications. Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams, vendors, and IT to ensure seamless system integration. Support business design sessions, integration activities, and performance assessments to ensure solutions align with program goals. Develop KPIs, provide status updates, and ensure deliverables connect to overall modernization objectives. Mentor team members and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Requirements: 7+ years of experience in commercial healthcare, with at least 3 years supporting state Medicaid payer system integration and delivery. Knowledge of Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) business architecture principles. Strong understanding of data structures, EDI processes, and related file formats. Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and business/technology integrations. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Preferred: Experience with large-scale business and technology integrations, particularly involving Medicaid or other government programs. Knowledge of federal certification requirements and processes. Project management experience. Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality outcomes.
