Job Location: Lansing, MI Hybrid – 2 days a week on site (Tues/Weds) Job Summary: Vital Tech Solutions is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support IT project teams by gathering and documenting clear, actionable business requirements and facilitating effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders. This role involves analyzing existing and future-state processes, data, and systems to help define system functionality that meets business needs. Key Responsibilities:

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements that are clear, testable, and meet project objectives, following standard templates and documentation best practices. Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders and project teams to gather business process impacts and define requirements. Develop and maintain the product backlog for Agile projects and support prioritization in partnership with the Product Owner. Monitor project scope to ensure requirements align with business goals and project objectives. Identify data governance and information management needs; ensure the right stakeholders are engaged for data-related decisions. Assist in analyzing Build vs. Buy options to support solution decisions. Support the timely resolution of critical project issues impacting requirements or functionality. Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, solution architects, tech leads, developers, testers, and technical writers to ensure shared understanding of requirements and desired system functionality. Ensure completion of assigned project deliverables and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field. 5+ years of Business Analyst experience. 5+ years of experience working in both Agile and Waterfall project environments. 5+ years of experience documenting Epics, Features, and User Stories for Agile teams. 5+ years of experience documenting As-Is and To-Be business process flows.
