We are looking for a skilled Building Engineer to join our team and help keep our property running smoothly. This position is at Carillon Properties, the parent company of The Woodmark Hotel & Still Spa. About the Role: As a Building Engineer , you will be responsible for are to diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various electrical, HVAC, fire alarm/sprinkler, lift stations, and plumbing systems in a Class A Property. Key Responsibilities: The ability to operate in a professional manner and always represent the Property in an appropriate manner conducive to a Class A property Diagnose, trouble shoot, and solve problems with electrical systems Diagnose, trouble shoot, and solve problems with plumbing systems Diagnose, trouble shoot, and solve problems with the HVAC controls system Diagnose, trouble shoot, and solve problems with the buildings sprinkler system Diagnose, trouble shoot, and solve problems with the lift station The ability to actively communicate issues to multiple Department Heads and Managers to meet the needs of the property What We're Looking For: Experience: 5+ years in building maintenance, facilities operations, or a related field. Certifications (Preferred): Electrical Safety Training, Refrigeration Operator Certification, Boiler Operator Certification, Forklift Safety Training Card (preferred), CPR & Basic First-Aid Certification (preferred) Technical Skills: Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve building system issues. Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills. Flexibility: Willingness to be on-call for emergencies as needed.
