We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated BCBA or BCaBA to join our dynamic team in Fort Myers.
Job Description:
As a BCBA or BCaBA, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing individualized treatment plans for clients with various behavioral needs. Your expertise will guide intervention strategies, empower families, and support our dedicated staff in delivering effective services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment results
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, in various settings (e.g., home, school, community)
- Train and supervise behavior technicians and other staff members in implementing behavior intervention plans
- Collect and analyze data on client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency and generalization of skills across environments
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA)
Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience working with children with special needs, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Strong understanding of behavioral principles and strategies used in ABA therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and team members
- Ability to collect and analyze data to inform treatment decisions
- Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans
