Hours: 20-hour flex schedule

Location: Therapist will service Volusia and Flagler counties

Requirements:

Master’s Degree from an accredited university in the area of social work or counseling with 2+ years of relevant experience

Prior experience working with at-risk children/adolescence

Driver’s License Must be in good standing

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Proficient in computer programs and software

Essential Functions:

• Provide individual, group & family therapy, utilizing various therapeutic approaches including but not limited to: TBRI, CBT, TF-CBT, Behavior Management, Client-Centered Therapy and Play therapy interventions in schools and homes.
• Proficient in completing bio-psychosocial evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes and documentation.
• Adhere to Medicaid documentation requirements and LSF contract guidelines
• Provide psychotherapy services to clients with various diagnoses.
• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of client needs based on the age and functioning level of the client.
• Be responsible for crisis intervention in schools, homes and various settings if deemed appropriate by school administration, family members and/or client.
• Ability to provide therapeutic services in office, home, community settings and through telehealth platforms. Remote services must be conducted from office and approved by supervisor.
• Coordinates care between psychiatrist, pharmacy, family members & other disciplines.
• Utilize EMR scheduler to schedule sessions, enter trainings/activities and documentation
• Conduct a minimum of 20 therapy sessions per week
• Adhere to the following documentation guidelines:
  • Progress Notes signed & submitted within 24 hours
  • Biopsychosocial within 10 business days of case opening
  • Initial Treatment Plan completed within 10 business days of case opening with clinician, client, and parent signature.
  • TX Plan reviews developed with family and client and submitted with signatures every 80 days.

  • CFARS completed every 6 months.
  • Mental Health Performance Outcomes completed at time of discharge.
  • CFARS completed at time of discharge.
