Were seeking passionate and energetic individuals to join our team as part-time Site Supervisors for the Before School Program during the 2025 2026 school year at J.V. Forrestal Elementary School in Beacon, NY.

PAY: $16.00 per hour JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead hands-on activities in line with the Healthy Kids Curriculum, which includes everything from physical fitness and STEAM to creative arts, academics, and homework support. Cultivate a safe, engaging, and fun environment where kids can grow and feel inspired. Be the role model they look up to each day. Support the Site Director with management duties like maintaining accurate attendance, overseeing registration, and assisting with staff scheduling. Serve as the on-site lead when the Site Director is unavailable. Keep parents and caregivers informed through the Playground App because sharing highlights from their childs day is a big part of the experience. Stay current with OCFS regulations, Healthy Kids policies, and the rules of the host school. Meet regularly with the Director to discuss operations, resolve challenges, and strategize as needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (must meet one of the following):<BR> High school diploma (or equivalent) plus two years of direct experience with children under age 13.

OR

School-age Child Care Credential (or another Office-approved credential relevant to school-age development) plus one year of related experience.

OR

Associate degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Youve been medically cleared and are free from any communicable illnesses, including TB. Youre upbeat, approachable, and great at working with children, parents, and colleagues alike. Reliability and professionalism are a must. Youre physically prepared to lift up to 50 lbs., stay active, and keep pace with energetic young learners.
