Bonus-eligible position Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 yearly Responsibilities: Provide an optimal level of event service by supervising the banquet area's daily operations, including ordering supplies, supervising event space set-up, and determining staffing levels Record the outcomes of each event to evaluate and improve future events and procedures Develop policies, procedures, quality standards, and cost-saving measures within the department to continuously improve the customer-focused banquet area Engage with customers to go through banquet event options that suit their budget and go over any changes, questions, or concerns to ensure a quality product is provided Relay all event orders to on-site banquet staff members so they are made aware of their duties and responsibilities Qualifications: Proven customer service experience as a manager; strong guest-focused mentality Proficient in computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) Excellent communication skills for working with clients and other team members High school graduate or GED equivalent with a degree in hospitality management preferred At least 3 years in a supervisory role in hospitality or food service About Company Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel simplifies travel in Towson, MD.
