Job Description

Now Hiring: B-Level Automotive Technician
Gloucester, MA | Monday–Friday | $30–$35/hr + Overtime + Bonus Potential

This isn't your average wrench-turning gig.
This is the shop where the weird jobs land, the rusty bolts snap, and the vehicles definitely didn't read the manual. If you thrive on variety, take pride in quality work, and enjoy being the one who can fix what others won't touch — you'll fit right in.

Located in Gloucester, this tight-knit, two-bay shop takes on everything from routine maintenance to full engine replacements, 4WD conversions, electrical issues, and diesel work. No flat-rate stress here — we bill hourly because every job is different and real-world repairs don't follow book time.

What You'll Work On:

  • Majority domestic vehicles, with some European and Asian

  • Up to ton-and-a-half trucks (think F550)

  • Full-spectrum repairs — oil changes to major diagnostics and everything in between

  • Real-world, hands-on troubleshooting — we're not button pushers, we're problem solvers

The Shop Environment:

  • Family-run

  • People skills optional — just be solid at your craft

  • Shop access for your own projects (no side work)

  • No corporate red tape, no drama — just honest work

You Bring:

  • 2+ years of automotive repair experience

  • Your own tools

  • Ability to see a job through from start to finish

  • Comfort working independently and as part of a small team

  • A no-nonsense, get-it-done attitude

The Perks:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance (50% employer-paid for employees)

  • PTO after 6 months, plus additional time for jury duty, funerals, and even the loss of a pet

  • Paid holidays including New Year's, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving and the day after, Christmas, plus early closures on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve

  • Weekly pay

  • Uniforms provided — pants, shirts, and work boots

Nice to Have:

  • Diesel experience (not required)

  • Willingness to train or be mentored

  • Curiosity and grit — we love techs who want to learn and figure things out

If you're tired of flat-rate burnout, ready to work on some truly interesting vehicles, and want to be part of a shop that values honesty and skill over flash, this might be your next move.

Apply now to schedule an in-person visit and working interview.
