Job Title: Automotive Sales Business Development Representative (BDC)

Job Summary:
Ford of Boerne is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Sales Business Development Representative (BDC) to join our dynamic sales team. The BDC Representative is responsible for managing incoming sales inquiries, generating sales appointments, and supporting the dealership’s efforts to deliver an exceptional customer experience. This individual will play a key role in driving dealership growth by cultivating leads, maintaining customer contact, and promoting Ford products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle inbound sales calls, internet leads, and web-based inquiries in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
Make outbound follow-up calls, emails, and texts to warm leads, internet prospects, and previous customers.
Set and confirm sales appointments for the dealership's sales team.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and appointment outcomes using CRM tools.
Provide accurate product and service information to customers based on their needs and interests.
Support online chat, website traffic, and social media engagement efforts as needed.
Follow up with customers who missed appointments or did not purchase to retain potential sales opportunities.
Maintain knowledge of current Ford inventory, product offerings, and incentives.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in automotive sales, call center, BDC, or customer service preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build rapport with customers and maintain a positive, helpful attitude.
Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
Comfortable using CRM systems, dealership management software, and digital communication tools.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree a plus.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Schedule:
Full-time, including some evenings and weekends as required by dealership hours.
