How you will contribute The Associate, People Business Partner supports a team of People Business Partners who are integral to driving alignment between business unit goals and organizational people practices, fostering growth, and enhancing the employee experience. The Associate, People Business Partner will help implement people strategies that support business objectives, ensuring excellence across all aspects of the employee lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Understand the unique needs of the assigned People Business Partners to support the business unit / geography and serve as an advisor for: All GPO People Services activities Performance Development Inclusive Diversity Workforce Insights People Experience and Brand
Gather and analyze HR data to provide insights and recommendations to the People Partner(s) Collaborate with various HR functions to deliver integrated people solutions Leverage tools to provide metrics and reporting to the practice that will help drive people decisions such as recruiting metrics, engagement metrics, turnover metrics Leverage the A&M global technology platforms and other tools to maintain employee data for both regulatory, proposal, recruitment and reporting purposes. Partner with and provide support to an assigned GPO People Partner Serve as a liaison between the People Partner and People Programs/People Services organizations Ensure effective implementation of A&M people practices and objectives within the assigned business unit Align business unit strategic goals with broader organizational people strategies Assist in developing and executing people-related initiatives tailored to the business unit's needs Support the interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures Qualifications & Experience 1-2 years of HR experience, preferably in a business partnering or advisory role Strong understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment laws Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong project management and organizational skills Proficiency in HR information systems and data analysis tools Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or related field; HR certification preferred Professional HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) are highly valued Your journey at A&M We recognize that our people are the driving force behind our success, which is why we prioritize an employee experience that fosters each person’s unique professional and personal development. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The amount of vacation and personal days available varies based on tenure and role type.
