Associate - Corporate - Project Finance/Infrastructure

Direct Counsel, LLC is seeking an experienced Associate on behalf of a leading global law firm to join their highly regarded Project Finance & Infrastructure team based in New York . This is a unique opportunity to work on some of the most sophisticated and high-value infrastructure and public-private partnership ( PPP ) transactions in the market, alongside a team of top-tier legal professionals. Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of PPP-related agreements , including: Concession agreements
Long-term lease and comprehensive agreements
Design, construction, interface, operations, and maintenance agreements
Handle secured financing transactions , including: Credit agreements
Pledge and security agreements
Collateral agency agreements
Advise on bond-related matters , including: Negotiation of indentures and bond purchase agreements
Drafting of disclosure documents
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage deal execution and regulatory compliance.
Provide strategic legal counsel to clients, managing relationships and deal flow efficiently.
Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
Admitted to practice and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
4–7 years of experience preferred; however, all levels will be considered .
Proven experience in PPP transactions , secured finance , and infrastructure-related legal work .
Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage complex transactions and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation: Annual base salary: $310,000 – $420,000 (Contingent upon experience, qualifications, and operational considerations)
Bonuses: Discretionary, performance-based
