Position Overview
Supporting Technical Excellence & Venue Operations
The Assistant Technology and Facilities Manager plays a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting simulators, technology systems, and venue infrastructure to ensure a seamless guest experience. Reporting to the Technology and Facilities Manager, this role provides hands-on support for technical challenges, assists in managing vendor partnerships, and helps oversee the facilities team to maintain a high-functioning venue environment. Working closely with internal teams, the Assistant Technology and Facilities Manager ensures the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all technology and facility operations.
Enhancing System Reliability & Venue Functionality
Beyond technical support, the Assistant Technology and Facilities Manager contributes to the venue's overall functionality by assisting with facility operations, including lighting, general maintenance, and other essential systems. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with strong collaboration skills and the ability to adapt to evolving challenges in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting. By combining technical expertise with facility support, the Assistant Technology and Facilities Manager plays a vital role in delivering exceptional experience for both guests and team members.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Technical Support & Maintenance:
- Assist in maintaining simulators and technology systems by performing routine checks, troubleshooting issues, and escalating concerns to engineers when necessary.
System Coordination:
- Support the Technology and Facilities Manager in working with technology partners to ensure seamless system functionality and performance.
Facility Support & Upkeep:
- Assist in maintaining venue infrastructure, ensuring lighting, HVAC, and general maintenance needs are met for a safe and operational environment.
Communication & Reporting:
- Provide timely updates on technical and facility status, assisting in maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Team Support & Training:
- Help facilitate training sessions to equip team members with essential knowledge of technology systems and facility operations.
Inventory & Equipment Tracking:
- Monitor stock levels, track equipment usage, and assist in ordering technology and facility-related supplies.
Routine Inspections & Audits:
- Conduct regular checks to support the integrity and reliability of all technology and facility systems, identifying potential areas for improvement.
Team Scheduling & Development: • Assist the Technology and Facilities Manager with writing team schedules, tracking performance, and identifying opportunities for training and development to help team members grow and succeed in their roles.
Skills Required
- Experience: At least one year of experience in a managerial technical support or maintenance role within a guest-facing environment.
- Operational Support: Ability to assist in managing technology and facility operations in a fast-paced, live venue setting.
- Team Collaboration: Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a willingness to support and learn from senior team members.
- Attention to Detail & Organization: Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high standard of work.

Basic Physical Requirements
When working at an F1 Arcade venue, Team Members must be able to perform the duties of that venue. The team members will frequently sit for short periods of time, talk via Cloud Based video conferencing and the phone often, and hear and manipulate objects constantly.
Additional requirements will include lifting to 10 (ten) pounds constantly and up to 50 (fifty) pounds as required. Lifting from floor to shoulder constantly and overhead infrequently. Twisting and reaching frequently. Grasping objects to move or manipulate constantly. Working in hot then cold environments for extended periods of time. May inadvertently bump into team members in a relatively small work area. Will stand and walk for extended periods of time. FREQUENT hand washing and sanitation is required. The ability to use knives, slicing equipment, and other food preparation equipment. Team Member must be able to communicate with Guests and other Team Members and manipulate handheld and desktop devices.
