As a key member of our team, you will carry out the daily operations required to ensure a safe and functional facility and engage with customers. This position requires the utmost care, attention, ability to multitask, and desire to foster a welcoming environment for all.
*Responsibilities*
* Greet and assist guests in a friendly, positive, and professional manner. * Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly. * Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the store. * Ability to carry up to 30-40 pounds of boxes of merchandise and organize them. * Once a month, unbox new merchandise, clean them up, and load it into claw machines. * Refilling vending in the hallways of Colonie Center/Crossgates, as needed. * Other duties as assigned.
*Physical Demands*
* While performing the duties of this job, Team Members are often required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and walk.
*Qualifications *
* Availability on nights, weekends, and holidays. Available all year round. * Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach. * Ability to be autonomous and work alone or with others.
*Requirements*
* Ability to commute * Weekly day range: Monday to Friday and Weekends * Education: High School or equivalent (Preferred) * Age: 18 and older * Previous retail/customer service-related experience of 1+ years * Available for more than 3 out of 7 days. We are primarily looking for people who are available for night shifts + can be flexible to meet our scheduling needs
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
