An Am Law 50 firm is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its elite Appellate & Supreme Court Practice</strong> in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in appellate litigation , particularly in matters involving intellectual property and patent law (link removed)>
Candidate Profile:
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
Admission to the Massachusetts Bar (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly).
24 years of substantive post-clerkship litigation experience , with a focus on appellate matters.
One or more appellate or Supreme Court clerkships strongly preferred.
Experience handling key phases of appellate litigation , including briefing and strategic analysis.
Familiarity with appellate matters involving intellectual property , especially patent litigation , is preferred.
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft appellate briefs, petitions for certiorari , and related filings in federal and state appellate courts.
Provide strategic guidance to trial teams on issue preservation and post-trial positioning.
Support the execution of appeals involving complex and high-stakes issues , often at the intersection of litigation and technology.
Collaborate closely with senior attorneys in the development of appellate strategy.

Compensation & Benefits</strong>
Competitive Compensation: Annual base salary is expected to range from $235,000 $310,000 , depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
