We’re excited to share a new opportunity with our growing team! We are currently hiring an After-Hours Scheduling Coordinator to help ensure our clients continue to receive exceptional care outside of our regular business hours.
In this vital role, you'll be the first line of support during evenings, weekends, and holidays—helping manage caregiver schedules, handling urgent situations, and ensuring smooth communication between clients, caregivers, and office staff. Position: After-Hours Scheduling Coordinator Location: Remote Hours:
Monday–Thursday | 4:30 PM – 8:00 AM
Friday 4:30 PM – Monday 8:00 AM (Weekend On-Call)
Paid holiday shifts: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM on select holidays
Key Responsibilities
Handle caregiver callouts, no-call/no-shows, late arrivals, missed clock-ins, urgent issues, and more during after-hours.
Communicate effectively with caregivers and clients via phone, text, and email.
Re-staff open shifts using Wellsky’s CareFinder tool and contact available caregivers.
Explain Plan of Care to caregivers attending to new clients.
Recap shift activity daily via email: calls received, issues addressed, outcomes, and follow-up needs.
Log all information accurately in Wellsky and set tasks for office follow-up.
Support the sales team by inputting new inquiries and staffing new clients (excludes Vigil Care).
Collaborate with the On-Call Supervisor when escalations or approvals are needed.
Provide office staff with shift reports and respond to any questions post-shift.

Compensation
Weekdays (Mon–Fri): $175 per on-call period
Weekends (Sat & Sun): $200 per on-call period
New Client Processing Bonus: $50 per new client staffed except Vigil Care
Holiday Pay: $75 per designated holiday shift
Additional Holiday Bonus: $25 (on holidays when the office closes early at 3 PM)
Active Work Pay: $15.00/hr. for time spent on calls, messages, documentation, and staffing
Weekday: Paid after 1 hour of active work
Saturday/Sunday: Paid after 2 hours of active work
Training Pay: $15.00/hr.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Prior experience in home care or medical staffing preferred
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Detail-oriented mindset and ability to multitask
Solid computer and communication skills
High level of intuition and calm under pressure
