Were currently seeking a vibrant and dedicated Director to oversee our After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year at Mettawee Community School in West Pawlet, VT. In this leadership role, youll be the cornerstone of the Healthy Kids Program Site, ensuring smooth daily operations and a fun, enriching environment for children.

JOB STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt PAY: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Compliance Champion: Ensure all program activities and staff practices align with Vermont state regulations, Healthy Kids policies, and the host school's expectations. Activity Leader: Facilitate exciting and educational hands-on experiences based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum including physical fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and homework help. Be the go-to person for fun and focus! Operations Manager: Oversee essential admin tasks like managing attendance, updating registration logs, and scheduling staff to support daily operations effectively. Family Connector: Use the Playground App to stay in touch with parents and guardians, providing important updates and highlights from the day. Team Player & Communicator: Keep your supervisor informed about day-to-day events and help resolve issues efficiently. Strong teamwork ensures the best care, a supportive workplace, and quick solutions to challenges.<BR> EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:<BR>To qualify for this position, applicants must:

Be 18 years or older Hold an Associates, BA, or BS degree

Have one of the following:

A minimum of 10 months of direct experience working with school-age children Vermont On-the-Job Training Certificate Vermont Afterschool Professional Credential Vermont Program Director Credential Vermont Teacher Licensure A Masters Degree in a youth-focused field

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Cleared by a medical professional to perform all job-related responsibilities and free from communicable illnesses, including TB Positive, approachable, and energetic with strong interpersonal skills to connect with children, families, and staff Reliable, punctual, and ready to move! Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and stay active alongside enthusiastic children
