Role: Administrative Coordinator - Legal
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000/annually
Location: New York City - Hybrid (2-3 days per week in office)
We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Administrative Coordinator to support an in-house legal department. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in administrative support and experience working with legal technology tools. You'll play a key role in managing our contract lifecycle system and supporting a variety of legal operations and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and update workflows in our contract management platform
- Organize and maintain digital and physical contract records
- Coordinate the review and approval process for new agreements
- Track contract deadlines and ensure compliance with key terms
- Respond to internal inquiries and provide contract-related information to business teams
- Support attorneys with administrative tasks, including travel booking and expense reporting
- Maintain internal systems such as Ironclad, iManage, hCue, and Legal Tracker
- Coordinate internal and external legal training sessions
- Keep internal contact lists and project tracking tools up to date
- Help develop and implement best practices for contract management across subsidiaries
- Assist with other legal and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- At least 3 years of experience in a legal administrative or similar support role
- Experience using contract management software (Ironclad or similar)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
- Familiarity with legal spend tools and legal operations platforms
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Comfortable working across departments and with global teams
