Job Title: Accounting Assistant
Job Description: We are looking for an ambitious, diligent, ethical, detail-oriented accounting assistant. Prefer experience in the title/mortgage/ banking fields”
This person will be a seasoned accounting assistant with the drive and desire to learn the home building and construction industry
Responsibilities: May include, but not limited to:
Qualifications/Skills: -General Accounting Duties including Journal Entries and reconciliations of various types of accounts -Real Estate Construction background; preferable in general residential contractor area of experience -Detail Oriented -Inter Company bill outs Tracking/Filing/ Excel Reports
Must have Word/Excel and Quick Books Experience. Would be helpful but not required-Sage background
Administrative tasks
Good with numbers
Detail oriented
Desire to learn about our company and the accounting tasks associated with residential building
Monthly reporting
Superior communication skills
Easily adapts to change, flexible with daily tasks
Ability to work with several different people on a daily basis
Special projects provided by President and Direct Supervisor
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time to meet deadlines
Arrives for work as scheduled and on time
Reliable transportation to and from work
Ability to pass full background check and drug test
Experience:
QuickBooks experience is a plus, but not required
Customer Service
Previous accounting experience in an office setting is required.

Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm (30-minute unpaid lunch daily)
No Overtime
