Required Skills & Experience
High school diploma or GED Secretarial experience Insurance/dental experience preferred
Detail oriented with problem-solving abilities
Excellent phone skills and customer service skills knowledge and Application of English grammar including composition, editing and proofreading
Ability to type 50 wpm
Strong organization, time management and multi-tasking
Has worked in a role that requires high attention to detail
Will determine if a member has coverage or not - a very cut and dry project
Great proofreading skills
Ability to interpret and respond to customer emails
Great organization and communication skills
Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
Desired Skills & Experience
Salesforce experience preferred
Medical or Dental Benefits experience preferred.
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
Maintains a solid understanding of the system configuration of customer benefit structure, products, and plan designs necessary to accurately process administrative and non-rated changes to existing business.
Requests information and benefit highlight summaries related to the client.
Collaborates with other functional areas to secure data for presentations or report generation as it relates to client inquiries or issues.
Researches and pursues resolution of issues using systems and workflows, and communicates resolution back to the appropriate party.
Ability to consistently interpret and summarize information from internal departments in a clear and concise manner to external customers.
Supports open enrollment meetings and occasionally delivers presentations as required at customer locations and through virtual platforms.
Supports special projects and miscellaneous responsibilities.
Routes proposals to Account Executives; enters data into various databases and logs including ONYX Develops presentations proposals, benefit highlights, contact sheet creation, report generation
Answer questions from brokers, groups, employees.
