Company Overview:
Novick Corporation is a food distribution company that specializes in servicing foodservice clients, food banks, commissary type kitchens, childcare centers, and educational settings. Members of the team are USDA and CACFP specialists, and work with our partners to provide healthier snack and meal options. Because we specialize in childcare, we have a full range of offerings, including food, cleaning, and paper supplies. Our ancillary services allow us to partner with our clients to help fulfill each individual programs goals for the health of their children. Services include menu planning with our nutritionists, nutritional trainings, portioning and serving guidelines, Serve Safe, inventory and cost control assistance, access to healthier child-friendly products and recipes, and more.

Who are we looking for?
Account and Business Development Manager who can communicate across the organization, developing sales strategies, build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction with current and prospective customers. Someone who can achieve set revenue and sales budgets, by meeting required sales conversions including lead generation and developing marketing plans.
Someone with Experience:
Management at the corporate level (childcare, distribution, or foodservices experience preferred). Excellent oral and written communication, highly developed decision-making, superior customer service skills, exceptional team leadership skills, along with a strong background in analysis.
What would you be doing?
Development of key customers and target accounts with on-going growth to ensure meeting or exceeding established expectations. Monitor and drive profitability, sales, and customer service with team. Coach and manage to achieve set goals including revenue and expense budgets. Develop short and long-term growth plans, while providing new ideas, tools, and methods to attract and maintain a strong customer base. Supervising the Business Development team including scheduling, review of hours, coaching, feedback, and teambuilding. Inventory management in collaboration with Purchasing. Processing special orders for clients.
Hours and schedule:
This position will typically work between 40-45 hours per week, with a full-time M-F on-site schedule and evening/weekend hours as needed.
