Position Summary
A leading organization is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Workday Data Analyst to support the successful migration of data from legacy systems into Workday. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) operations, as well as expertise with Workday Data Gathering Workbooks and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) tools. This role will be pivotal in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and smooth system integration.
Responsibilities
Support ETL operations to transfer data from legacy HR systems into Workday, ensuring high quality and integrity across datasets.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather and define data migration requirements using Workday Data Gathering Workbooks.
Design and execute EIB templates for automated data loads and transformations within Workday.
Cleanse, normalize, and validate data for compatibility with Workday’s data structure and business rules.
Provide insights and actionable recommendations based on data analysis to enhance system performance and user experience.
Perform rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and validation to confirm successful data transfers and resolve anomalies.
Create reports, dashboards, and documentation to monitor progress and migration outcomes.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in data analytics or ETL/data integration roles.
Expertise in Workday Data Gathering Workbooks and EIB creation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Strong background in data mapping, transformation logic, and bulk uploads into Workday HCM modules.
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Excellent communication skills to work across functional teams and document processes.
Ability to interpret complex data models and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Preferred
Experience with Workday Studio, calculated fields, and other advanced Workday integration tools.
Knowledge of data privacy standards and compliance related to employee data.
