*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment related to water systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in various field environments.
*Duties*
* Perform installation, troubleshooting, and repair of water treatment. * Conduct routine maintenance checks and ensure all equipment operates efficiently. * Analyze system performance data and make recommendations for improvements. * Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to equipment specifications. * Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide effective solutions. * Maintain accurate records of service performed, including data collection on system performance. * Provide training and support to clients on the operation of installed systems.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in equipment repair. Previous experience in water treatment a plus. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. * Familiarity with plumbing systems and their maintenance requirements is preferred. * High school degree is required. Associate, or Bachelor's is preferred. * Water treatment experience, _especially a knowledge of boiler and cooling water treatment and systems._ * Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. * Valid driver's license is required for travel to various job sites. * Ability managing multiple tasks efficiently.
*Requirements*
* Mechanical aptitude: Be able to learn to use, maintain, and understand building equipment and systems and water treatment systems. * Must be able to access and be comfortable with working in a variety of conditions to include confined spaces, damp or dusty locations and hot conditions. * Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include *frequent* lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, twisting, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching above shoulder level, using hands to finger, balancing, walking, standing, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs and ladders, talking and hearing * Must be able to discern color and pass a test for color blindness * Must be able to work at heights above 10 feet * Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam
