Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. This role involves gathering materials from the yard, loading and unloading materials, inventory control, shipping, and receiving. The ideal candidate should have experience with cycle counts and inventory tracking. During slow periods, you will assist in cleaning and refurbishing units returning from the field.

Responsibilities

Gather materials from the yard for loading and unloading.

Manage inventory control, shipping, and receiving processes.

Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory tracking.

Clean and refurbish units during slow periods.

Load and unload materials from trucks.

Facilitate material movement throughout the facility.

Prepare and package items for shipping.

Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.

Ensure a clean and orderly warehouse area.

Assist Warehouse Lead Receiver with stocking production line.

Count and organize inventory.

Secure materials and facility.

Read and follow instructions from the department lead.

Operate forklift and scales.

Cross-train in other departments to support production.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in forklift operation.

Experience in packing and inventory handling.

Knowledge of material handling, loading, and picking.

Competence in shipping and receiving.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to perform general labor tasks.

Skill in order picking.

Capability to be cross-trained in various departments.

Work Environment

You will be working in a modular building manufacturing facility within an industrial warehouse environment. The facility is covered but does not have air conditioning or heating.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aumsville, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
