The Profile
In this role you will:
Research prospects, retail companies, identify influencers and decision makers
Identify qualified sales opportunities through a combination of outbound activities – phone calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach
Understand key buyer personas and diligently manage outbound activities for all personas within each sales opportunity
Follow a clear, defined qualification process for sales opportunities
Schedule meetings with qualified prospects for the sales team
Ensure all outreach activities are accurately entered and managed within our CRM system
Become an expert in the XCCommerce solutions and our competitive differentiators
Follow up on leads generated from all marketing events and campaigns
The Other Stuff
Job requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a customer facing sales role
Retail software experience is preferred
Excellent listening, verbal, written and research skills
Experience prospecting for net-new logos,
Ability to understand and successfully promote solution offerings
Organized, with strong prioritization skills for follow-ups
Quick learner, highly inquisitive, ambitious, and self-starter
Experience working within enterprise CRM solutions, Salesforce is preferred
Open to coaching and guidance in order to improve overall effectiveness
Effectively builds relationship with sales leadership, aligned sales account executives and marketing counterparts
