Coverage Needed:

• Full-Time: 12+ shifts per month
• Part-Time: 10+ shifts per month
• Schedule: Monday-Sunday, 8 AM - 8 PM
• Travel between several locations

Clinical Details:

• Typical Cases: Cold/flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, minor burns
• Procedures: Suturing, wound care, I&Ds, splinting, X-rays, EKGs, drawing blood, IVs
• EMR: Epic
• Support Staff: Medical assistants and rad techs onsite
• Average Patient Volume: 3-4 patients per hour
• Providers per Day: 1-3; remote physician available for escalation if needed
• Privileges: Full and temporary privileges available
• On Call: No

Requirements:

• Board Certified
  • If ABFM or ABIM then needs 2 years experience in EM or UC
  • If ABEM then needs 1 year of experience
• DEA Required
• State Licensure: Pennsylvania (IMLC candidates not considered)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Comfortable with: Seeing patients of all ages, orthopedic procedures (splinting), wound care
• Minimum Availability: 3 shifts per month consistently
• NPDB self-query required with presentation
• CSR License Required
