Job Details
Responsibilities: Provide expert legal counsel to clients on all matters related to trusts and estates, including estate planning, administration, and litigation. Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and to stay updated on the latest changes in trusts and estates law. Draft, review, and revise a variety of legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents. Represent clients in probate court, handle probate proceedings, and offer legal advice on probate law. Collaborate with our legal team to develop case strategies, provide legal advice, and ensure client satisfaction. Maintain the highest level of professional and ethical conduct while delivering superior legal services.
Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, specifically in trusts and estates law. Membership in good standing with the state bar. Profound knowledge of trusts and estates law, probate law, and legal principles. Excellent legal research skills and proficiency in using legal research tools. Demonstrated experience in drafting and revising legal documents. Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues. High level of professionalism and adherence to legal and ethical standards. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines without compromising on quality. Proficiency in legal case management software would be an added advantage.
