Bakery Team Member A bakery team member plays a vital role in supporting our mission to nourish people and the planet. The job involves receiving and preparing product, maintaining the bakery area and displays, and selling product in support of WFM standards. Key Responsibilities: Ensure a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked. Stock and clean shelves, bins, and display areas. Monitor and prevent spoilage and communicate waste to buyers, team leaders, and shift supervisors. Maintain back stock in good order. Assist with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing. Assist with periodic inventory checks. In addition to these key responsibilities, you will also be expected to provide excellent customer service, address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive selling techniques.
