Ledcor is seeking a skilled Traveling Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our U.S. Mining team. In this role, you'll travel to various job sites across the country to diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy mobile equipment. You'll work independently, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform safe and cost-effective maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
Support PM Mechanics and Maintenance Technicians
Diagnose and repair Cat, Komatsu, and Hitachi equipment
Conduct safety inspections and complete daily hazard assessments
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Promote and uphold safety and production standards across all sites
Qualifications:
Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License
Minimum 2 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic on surface mine sites
Proficiency with Cat, Komatsu, and Hitachi equipment
Strong computer skills for accessing equipment diagnostics
Ability to troubleshoot engine, transmission, and hydraulic systems
Effective communication skills
MSHA Part 48 metal/nonmetal certification preferred
Work Conditions: Rotating schedule: 5 days on / 4 days off, 12-hour shifts (including nights)
Frequent travel to various U.S. work sites
Overtime may be required
