As a team member in delivery of respiratory services, and under medical direction, performs a wide range of procedures related to the care of patients with general and specialized respiratory-related needs, including those in the Pediatric areas. CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days Required ? CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days Required ? CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days Required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days Required ? Essential Functions: Performs evaluation to determine respiratory care needs, and makes appropriate recommendations and changes in accordance with policy and protocol guidelines. Assesses effectiveness of treatment and accurately documents according to department and legal/regulatory standards. Completes and documents required education and competencies within designated timeframe. Maintains competency in areas of accountability. Accurate and timely completion of all necessary documentation and billing. Facilitates a smooth transition for the patient to appropriate referral services / the next point of service / home and provides education to patients and families as it relates to respiratory issues. Instructs and trains other respiratory care staff, nursing and other medical personnel and students regarding patient needs and respiratory care services. Actively participates in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures where appropriate and completes all position and unit safety related competencies and requirements on a timely basis. Performs other duties as assigned. Notices: Corewell Health is committed to granting reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable laws. If a Service Provider or Contingent Worker fails to take action required for accurate invoicing within 45 days following the end of a pay cycle in which services were?provided, then Corewell Health shall not be obligated to make payment to Service Provider for those services. Examples of action: If staff provided services ending the week Sep 3, 2023 and Service Provider does not submit accurate timesheets no later Oct 18, 2023, Corewell Health shall not be?obligated to pay for the service provided during that timeframe. Supplier must take system action to implement agreed upon rate changes prior to the week the change becomes effective. It is highly recommended that timesheet?reconciliation and issue inquiry/correction is performed by the supplier prior to the 45 days. No other forms of invoicing are accepted outside of our timesheet approval process. Guaranteed Hours: 36 Contract Weeks:83
