American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN with BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications for a combined ER and Med Surg role.
Job Details
• Work in a Critical Access Hospital setting covering both Emergency Room and Med Surg units, • 12-hour shifts (day/evening), with shift start times of either 3:00 am or 3:00 pm, • Required to work every third weekend and every other holiday, • No on-call responsibilities, • Assignment duration is 13 weeks,
Job Requirements
• Active RN license, • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required, • Emergency Department and Med Surg clinical experience preferred, • Cannot have previous permanent employment with Avera or Sanford, • Must arrive onsite within 45 minutes of being called in,
Additional Information
• Responsibilities include caring for patients across both the Emergency Room and Medical-Surgical units, • Critical access environment requires flexibility and adaptability, • Holiday coverage is required for major holidays including New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, • Minimum call-back period is two hours if called in, • Team supports patients with varying acuity across both ER and Med Surg
