13-Week Assignment | Day Shift | 3x12s | RRT
HumanEdge Health is seeking a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a full-time, day shift assignment in Columbus, Ohio . This 13-week contract is ideal for a skilled RT looking to make a clinical impact in a supportive, fast-paced hospital environment.
Position Overview:
Deliver respiratory care and patient transport as prescribed, with minimal supervision
Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans
Administer therapies using ventilatory equipment (invasive and non-invasive), oxygen devices, and nebulizers
Perform chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, capnography monitoring, and 12-lead EKGs
Provide tracheostomy care, arterial punctures, pulmonary function studies, and emergency airway support
Assist with bronchoscopies, chest tube placements, and other related procedures
Maintain equipment, documentation, and accurate therapy charges
Communicate effectively with physicians and participate in shift handoffs
Requirements:
Active RRT credential and Ohio RT license
Recent acute care experience strongly preferred
Strong clinical judgment and proficiency with ventilator management
Available to work 3x12s, days including rotating weekends as needed
