In this role, you will be essential in providing high-quality ultrasound services to patients of all ages, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. This position requires a strong background in pediatric ultrasound procedures and proven expertise with ultrasound equipment and PACS systems.**Key Responsibilities:**- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, pediatric, and vascular studies.- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures while maintaining a high standard of care.- Utilize advanced ultrasound equipment, including GE and Siemens systems, as well as PACS and InteleRad PACS for image storage and management.- Collaborate with healthcare team members to interpret findings and provide thorough reports to physicians.- Participate in occasional on-call rotation as needed, only for call-outs or emergencies.- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, complying with all safety protocols and procedures.**Qualifications:**- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.- Current certifications: BLS, ARDMS (AB, OB/GYN), ARRT (S), or equivalent certifications.- Strong experience working with pediatric patients, particularly in performing pediatric ultrasounds.- Proficiency in performing various procedures, including biopsies, contrast enhancement studies, and advanced vascular exams.- Ability to operate portable ultrasound machines as required.- Must have experience with the Epic charting system.- Commitment to punctuality and attendance, adhering to a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences.**Preferred Skills:**- Experience with liver elastography, renal transplant, and various diagnostic ultrasound techniques.- Familiarity with complex pediatric cases and outpatient settings.- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.**Additional Information:**Our facility is a level 2 trauma center, which provides an exciting and dynamic work environment where you can develop your skills and knowledge.
