Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/10/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Must reside 75 miles from facility Unit Name/Type of unit: Neuro ICU Stepdown. TCU. Selling points for the unit: Good Culture. We will work with schedules. Treating like core staff. # beds/procedures: 42. Patient ratio: 4:1 OR 3:1 depending on acuity/staffing. Does RN need to know how to read tele strips? YES Top diagnosis/procedures: Stroke, Transplant, PD. Common equipment used: Dynamaps, Bladder Scanner, Doppler. Does RN need to be able to titrate medication? Drips – Insulin (DKA and GMAT), Cardizem, Nitro for BP, heparin, Amio, Pulmonary HTN Drips. Common medications given: Most regular meds.
