Job Title: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)

Location: Bradenton, FL 34208

Shift: 10-Hour Day Shifts: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks 

 

Weekly Breakdown:        
Weekly Gross:  $2,495.00  Per Week 
On W2(Taxable):  $920.00  Per Week 
Stipend(Non-Taxable):  $1,575.00  Per Week 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of acute care OR experience
    Submissions without this will not be considered
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required
  • Current RN license in the state of Florida – Required
  • Certifications:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required
  • BSNHighly desired

Job Description: The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care during surgical procedures by assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment. This role includes scrubbing and/or circulating duties and adhering to aseptic techniques and

 clinical standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepares the OR for surgical procedures, ensuring equipment and supplies are functional and available.
  • Performs scrub and/or circulating nurse duties during surgeries.
  • Coordinates with the surgical team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Acts as a liaison to patients, families, and surgical teams.
  • Monitors the patient’s condition throughout the procedure.
  • Ensures compliance with infection control and safety standards.
