Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Operating Room RN | M-F 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM + Call | Ortho Preferred

Some orthopedic experience is highly recommended. The OR RN demonstrates strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership. As part of the surgical team, the RN collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, techs, and staff to deliver safe and effective care in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN guidelines, and hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities: Ensure case readiness and timely turnovers Maintain communication with surgical team and patient families Assist or scrub during surgical procedures Update physician preference cards Supervise support staff as needed
