This is an assignment lasting between 16 to 32 weeks, with a commitment to every other weekend and two out of four holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver high-quality care to patients on a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans. - Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting any changes and reporting to the healthcare team promptly. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and ensure proper documentation and compliance with standards. - Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding health management and wellness. - Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to unit goals and improvement initiatives. **Requirements:** - Minimum of 2 years of unit-based nursing experience in a large, teaching facility. - Prior travel nursing experience is required. - Current certifications in AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) prior to start. - Proficiency in Epic EMR within the last 2 years is mandatory. - Reliable transportation, as public transport is not accessible in the area. **Additional Information:** - Flexible scheduling with no block schedules for any reason. - Orientation offered bi-weekly on Mondays. - All employment history, including bed count, EMR, and facility type, must be complete for submission. - Candidates must have vehicles equipped with all-season or snow tires from November to April. **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
