Unit Overview: 3 South is a Med/Surg Telemetry unit certified as a Stroke Center and designated as a Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU). Primarily serves patients with neurological diagnoses, but also functions as a telemetry overflow unit, offering exposure to diverse patient populations. Requirements: Neurology nursing experience Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications Basic EKG proficiency (testing provided via Prophecy Relias; must be passed before Orientation) Additional Details: Every other weekend and holiday rotation required 36 hours per week guaranteed (opportunity for longer contracts) Floating to other units as needed to support hospital operations
