Scheduling Requirements Shift Times : 6:45 PM–7:15 AM Weekends : Every other weekend Holidays : Must work 2 of 3 (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) RTO : Max 5 days off Blocked Scheduling Requests : Not allowed 48 Hour Guarantee : Not provided Unit Information Department : Med Surg | Tele Beds : 90 (double occupancy) Nurse-Patient Ratios : Days : 1:5–6 Nights : 1:6

Certifications Required : Required : BLS Preferred : ACLS

‍⚕️ Staffing & Support Charge Nurse : Present on each shift (may take patients if needed) Patient Care Assistants : Yes; approx. 8–12 pts per PCA Monitor Techs : Yes; travelers do not read telemetry RT Equipment : Bipap, stable trach Drips : Heparin & Lasix (non-titrated) Typical Patient Diagnoses Medical-focused: Pneumonia, COPD, Radiation therapy patients, Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), occasional surgical (e.g., lap chole, appendectomy) Other Requirements Float Requirements : Other Med Surg units Stable, low-acuity ICU RDU and Foothills Clinic RDU

Call Requirement : Low Census On Call Orientation : 1 day NEO (New Employee Orientation) 1 day Clinical Ed/EPIC 1 floor orientation shift
