• Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
• Nurses collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Nurses effectively interact with patient and significant others, while maintaining the standard of professional nursing.
• Hospital Nurses provide care for pediatric and adult patients before and after surgical procedures, and with a broad range of medical conditions.
• Has ability to assess and implement established policies and procedures with minimal supervision.
• Acts as a clinical leader and assists with precepting staff.
• Provides direct care for patients in the Hospital and Ambulatory Service Center from admission to discharge in all aspects of care including discharge planning.
• Gives direction to , LPN, CNA, Housekeeping Staff, Dietary Staff.
• Receives direction from Providers, Charge Nurse, Acute Care Director, and CNO
