Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Duration: 26 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job ID: T4H - 914 Position : Registered Nurse (RN) – L&D / LDRP Facility : Wood River Hospital – Women’s Services, Floor 2 Location : Ketchum, ID Start Date : ASAP Contract Length : 26 Weeks Shift : Nights – 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Guaranteed Hours : 48 hours/week Orientation : 24 Hours (includes 1 facility day + 2 x 12-hour shifts on unit) Trauma Level : CAH (Critical Access Hospital) EMR : EpicCare Inpatient (Epic Systems Corporation) EFM System : Centricity Radius Rule : 50-mile radius – permanent address must be outside this zone. Unit Details Unit : Women’s Services – LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) L&D Beds : 6 (same beds used for postpartum) OR Suites : 1 dedicated C-Section suite Births : ~160/year (12–17/month) Staffing : 2 RNs per shift Charge Nurse : St. Luke’s core staff usually assigned; House Supervisor also available Support Staff : No OB techs or aides currently (in hiring process) OB/Peds Coverage : OBs on-call (clinic M–F, called in as needed) Peds available during weekdays, on-call nights/weekends Shared Hospitalist with Med-Surg Anesthesia: On-call after hours (30-min response time)

Required Experience & Skills Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience Strong Labor experience required Some recent Postpartum or LDRP preferred

Must be comfortable working autonomously, especially nights/weekends Experience stabilizing newborns post-delivery Ability to care for couplets (mother & baby) in first hours post-birth Proficient with Pitocin, Magnesium drips, and general labor management Certifications Required BLS (AHA) ACLS NRP STABLE AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced – Preferred Scheduling & Expectations Self-Scheduling with core staff Weekend/Holiday : Equitably shared with core team Call Requirement : None Floating : Only to assist (safety attendant or task-based help); not full patient load Scrub Color : Surgical scrubs provided (optional to wear own outside deliveries)
