Location: Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital (NNRH), Elko, NV Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Position Summary:

Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our night shift team. As an RN in our Intensive Care Unit, you will provide specialized care to critically ill patients, utilizing advanced clinical skills and a compassionate approach to support patients and their families during challenging times. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients. Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, responding promptly to changes. Administer medications, manage life-support equipment, and perform complex procedures. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery expectations. Uphold infection control and patient safety standards at all times. Qualifications:

Current RN license in the state of Nevada (or compact state license). BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred. Minimum 1 year of ICU or critical care experience strongly preferred. Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in high-acuity situations. Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Float Requirements: If the unit is on standby, RN’s float to other units or are on call.
