Registered Nurse - Critical Care/MS-Tele Float Pool
Facility: University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center
Location: 7601 Osler Dr, Towson, MD 21204
Start Date: 08/25/2025
Duration: 14 weeks
Shift: Day Shift (3×12-Hour, 07:00–19:30)
Weekends: Every Other | Float: Required to all CCU/MS-Tele units
Requirements:
- Licensure: Active MD or Compact RN license (required at submission).
- Experience:
- 2+ years in Critical Care (CCU) and MS-Telemetry (required).
- Proficiency in titrating cardiac/vasoactive drips, vent management, and rapid response.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI (AHA only; CPI must be "Calm Every Storm" version).
- Skills:
- Epic charting preferred.
- Procedures: Chest tubes, tracheostomy care, hemodynamic monitoring.
Unit Details:
- Patient Ratio: 1:5 (adults/geriatrics).
- Scope: Float pool covering CCU, MS-Tele, and step-down units.
- Patient Types: Post-cardiac surgery, MI, neuro/stroke, complex medical cases.
