Level I trauma experience required. License: Active state license required. Certifications: ACLS BCLS by AHA PALS TNCC ENPC NIH Must-Have: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. EPIC charting experience. Traveler must agree to work 3 weekends (Friday to Sunday) per 4-week schedule. Traveler acknowledgment of high patient-to-nurse ratios (1:5-6, up to 8 during busy times). Traveler must have required certifications (TNCC and ENPC). Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the emergency room. The shift will be nights, covering three 12-hour shifts per week. The contract length is 13 weeks. The unit is a Level 1 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center, and Pediatric Emergency Department. High patient care ratios are expected. The role involves providing care in a fast-paced environment with a focus on trauma patients. Experience in triage and continuous IV sedation is preferred. Travelers will be accepted for first-time positions. Modules for training will need to be completed prior to start but are non-billable. All required certifications and experience should be current and valid.
