ER Nurse Job Details

Location: Harrison Township, NJ (08062) – Southern New Jersey healthcare jobs

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Hours per Week: 36

Hourly Pay Rate: $86.49

Shift: Every other weekend or 3 weekends per month (based on department needs)

Holiday Requirement: None

Start Date: January 12, 2026

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Previous travel nursing experience (at least one completed contract assignment)

High-volume, fast-paced ED experience preferred

Active New Jersey RN License or Compact State License

Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (valid and not expiring within 30 days)

Ability to complete full orientation as scheduled

Maximum of 3 days requested time off (RTO); no block scheduling or special requests

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy Emergency Department

Utilize advanced clinical skills to assess, triage, and manage acute and emergent conditions

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate, timely nursing documentation

Participate in required orientation, training, and ongoing education

Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
