Assignment Details: Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care (Cardio IC / CVICU) Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts) Schedule: Every Other Weekend (EOW), First to Float Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience required Certifications Required: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) BLS (Basic Life Support) NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Preferred (Not Required): Experience with IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump), CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy), and ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) Proficiency in immediate post-operative cardiac surgery recovery

Unit Information: This position is within a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit that is part of a mixed medical-surgical ICU. Nurses will care for critically ill cardiac patients, particularly those in immediate post-op recovery from cardiac surgery.
